2-Hour Online Tutoring Session: Mass Transport in Animals and Plants (AQA A-level Biology). Led by an experienced teacher and AQA examiner, this comprehensive session will cover key specification content to deepen understanding. The mass transport in animals’ section will cover key concepts such as the role of haemoglobin, the heart structure and cardiac cycle, blood vessels and tissue fluid formation. The mass transport in plants section will cover the cohesion tension theory, the mass flow hypothesis and experimental evidence for these. This session is ideal for consolidating learning, addressing misconceptions, and building confidence in applying key concepts to exam questions.
Students will receive a pdf of material before the session, with extra problems to complete afterwards as well.
